How It Works

A custom piece should feel personal, but the process should feel simple. Here’s what to expect from inquiry to finished artwork.

Send the Story

Share your reference photo, preferred size, medium, and any meaningful details — a home, interior, or place you’d love to remember.

We Set the Direction

I’ll review the image and confirm the subject, timeline, and overall feel. Once everything is approved, your commission is reserved.

Your Piece Is Created

I’ll paint your original piece in my style, then carefully package it for shipping or arrange local pickup or delivery in Austin.

What do you paint?

I focus on homes, interiors, and travel-inspired scenes. These are the pieces I’m most drawn to and where my style really shines.

Do you paint portraits?

I’m not accepting portrait commissions at this time.

How does the commission process work?

Reach out to inquire and submit your photo. Once we confirm the subject, size, medium, and overall direction, full payment secures your spot. From there, I’ll begin your piece.

What kind of photos work best?

Clear, well-lit images with strong composition work best. Natural light is always ideal. The better the photo, the better the final painting.

Can I request changes or revisions?

Because of the nature of watercolor, gouache, and oil, I don’t offer revisions once the painting has begun. We’ll align on direction beforehand so the final piece reflects a shared vision.

Can I request specific colors or details?

Yes. You’re welcome to share color preferences, especially if you’d like the piece to complement your home. I’ll interpret those details within my own style and approach.

How long does it take?

Watercolor and gouache pieces are typically ready to ship within 2–3 weeks. Oil paintings vary depending on size, drying time, and the nature of the piece.

What is your payment and refund policy?

Full payment is required upfront to reserve your commission. Because each piece is custom, all sales are final.

Do you offer framing?

I don’t currently offer framing as a standard option, but it can be discussed for an additional fee.

Where do you ship?

I currently ship within the United States. Local pickup or delivery is available in Austin, Texas.

Each piece is an original work of art, not a literal replication. I take on a limited number of commissions each month so I can give each one the attention it deserves.
